Monday.

Hello everybody! Let’s start with a Showtime of Magic we will be doing this Magic Camp. A few rubber band tricks to loosen those fingers then we will discover the real reason for magic wands and learn to vanish and appear balls and silks.

Tuesday,

Recap yesterdays tricks with Rubber Bands, Wand Work, Ball Manipulation & other tricks. Vanishes and appearances with coins and small objects get us ready for cups and balls.  A classic of Magic cups & Balls teaches misdirection & other magic principles. Card Tricks with a few cards that impress and teach moves essential for hundreds of card tricks.

Wednesday.

Today we use our new skills to make bigger stuff appear & vanish. A six-inch red silk will vanish and a 1 metre candy cane appear. Visually stunning magic so we put more emphasis on presentation from now on. Pulling a rope through your body at the waist is cool then we finish with some vanishing and appearing knots.

Thursday.

After we recap and add style to yesterday’s stage magic we can start putting it all together. Production boxes are empty but we keep pulling large items out & using those items to perform more magic. Tricks are performed in a routine starting with production of trick from production box.To finish off the day we’ll need a *cardboard box big enough for a child’s head to it in – Spooky!.

Friday.

Rehearsal of the All-Magic Trick Production routine helps us perfect our tricks & add on our own style. Then we will float a silk hanky, make a straw rise out of a bottle & watch a card fly away and back again by your command. With so much Magic learnt this week, maybe, you can perform a 1 minute show for all our happy campers.

*Cardboard box big enough to fit child’s head that will need 5 small holes cut into it. Design can be provided prior to camp and students reminded each day.

* Any bottle any straw. Clear plastic bottle quarter filled with water is perfect.
